Great practice amp for beginners
The media could not be loaded. I am NOT a guitarist, I’m a vocalist, so my knowledge of guitar accessories is limited at best. That said, I got this for my daughter who is learning to play. It’s a great size, and has a handle belt clip as well. It comes with an instruction sheet that shows how to adjust the tone and gain for different type of sounds. It gets quite loud for its size without losing sound quality or distorting. On the flip side, even at low volumes (like in the video, the sound is clear and crisp. It’s a great space saving amp and even comes with a 9V battery! The only downside is that it didn’t come with the power supply, however the manual does give specifics of what to get if you choose to go that route. We also tried it with an electric bass and the sound was rather good there - I’ll probable get a second one just for the that. Definitely well worth the cost!! You can’t beat it.

Awesome little practice amp
I love this little thing! I bought it with a specific use in mind: It will sit on my end table, within arms reach of me, my guitar and a short guitar cable, for when I feel like noodling a little bit, but don't feel like plugging in through my pedalboard and main amp. And for that purpose, it's perfect. It looks nice sitting there, it's simple to operate, and sounds good. This is a great little practice amp. PRACTICE AMP. I see several negative reviews that it's not loud enough. This is a practice amp! It's 20 bucks. Do you really expect to keep up with the band on a 20 dollar plastic practice amp? Read the description. It is what it is. As far as the complaints about it clipping, I had that problem at first as well. Playing chords, it sounded like a really heavy fuzz, and playing single notes, it would cut out intermittently. I replaced the battery with a new one, and the clipping stopped immediately. That kinda sucks, because the included Danelectro battery is cool looking, but I don't feel it's anything worth crying about. I'm guessing these amps have been sitting on a shelf for quite some time. Those cute little 9V batteries that come with it, like all alkaline batteries, have a shelf life. I haven't tried it with a 9V power supply, and honestly, I have no intentions to do so. I'm quite impressed, and I would recommend this little beast to anyone else who is looking for a really small practice amp.

Great practice amp for guitar
I'm new to guitar. Just needed a small guitar amp for practicing. This little amp is perfect for that. It's small, lightweight and goes anywhere so I can practice anywhere. Plus it's inexpensive.Love the retro look and aqua color, exactly my style. Even the 9v battery it comes with is retro looking. It is made mostly of plastic, but feels fairly sturdy, not super cheap. The knobs operate smoothly and are not wobbly. There are no loose or ill fitting parts. Overall fit and finish is excellent. It's easy to operate and the sound from the tiny speaker is good. It's loud enough to play to a small audience in the same room. But as a beginner, I'm not ready for that yet, so I tend to keep the volume low. I like that it has the option to run off of battery or can be plugged in with an adapter. The little handle strap is not leather as the product description says, it's like a soft plastic. I think it's more for looks than functional anyway. If there was one improvement I would make, it would be to have a separate on/off button from the volume control. That way, you can turn it on and off without having to readjust the volume each time.Anyway, this is perfect for what I needed it for and would definitely buy it again.

Perfect amp for traveling with a solid body electric uke
I take my solid body electric uke with me when I'm traveling - I can stow it in my carry-on in a soft case without fear of the uke being damaged or crushed (I travel with my acoustic ukes in hard cases - pretty bulky.)The solid body doesn't project on its own (has to be amplifed), so I needed a small yet good quality amp and the Danoelectro fits the bill perfectly. I was even ready to pay a higher price, but no need. This little amp gives you a major bang for your buck! The sound is surprisingly good for an amp this small and inexpensive. The uke and amp take up little room so I can have them always with me, ready to play when I want to, especially when killing time due to a flight delay or late night in a hotel room. The volume control and headphone jack enable me to write, practice, or just noodle around without annoying my fellow travelers (this would not be the case with an acoustic uke).Although I love to play my uke on the beach, I don't like to bring my acoustics - too much risk of the salt, moisture, and sand ruining the instrument. I don't have that fear with the solid body and this amp makes it a perfect beach instrument.Although the travel portability was my initial need for this amp, I've found other applications for which it's perfectly suited. I recently started doing volunteer performances at hospitals, going room to room, playing for patients and their families. You can't really wheel around an amp in this venue, so I played my acoustic ukes at first. But hooking this little amp onto my belt loop and plugging in my solid body electric uke gives me more options, like enabling me to turn the volume down low if I'm playing for a sleepy baby. When performing live, I play through a Bose L1 Model II Single Bass with ToneMatch Audio Engine, but this amp also lets me be more mobile and spontaneous during my performance. In a suitable venue, I can step off the stage and roam around with my uke and amp, engaging the audience one-to-one. Mobile entertainment! So many possibilities for this little amp... I highly recommend it!
