Worked perfectly with my Insignia TV! I lost the old remote while moving & there are no buttons on the TV besides one single on/off switch - very annoying, since we'd accidentally left the brightness and backlighting off and the volume turned down, lol. The new remote came and as soon as we popped batteries in (two AAAs - which it didn't come with, but we already had on hand), it worked with the TV! We didn't have to sync or program it or anything.

I don't know what is up with this TV, but it eats remotes like no other. They just fail to function over time. For that reason, buy the cheapest one you can find, they all work, and they all look the same. I was under the impression this was a generic but it did have branding printed on it.

After my remote failed to connect to my TV I placed new batteries in it thinking that was the problem. When that didn’t work I looked it up and was surprised to find that brand new and identical remotes could be purchased! I ordered one on a Wednesday morning and the following Sunday morning it was delivered. After putting new batteries in it it immediately turned the TV on! Hooray! It’s working just fine. I’m so glad to have it and ordering it was a breeze.

I bought this to replace the remote that came with the TV due to my wife repeatedly dropping the original. The old one just quit working one day. I ordered this one, got it the next day, put in the batteries and turned it on. Voila! All set up and ready to go. Couldn't get any easier than this! I highly recommend this remote from this seller also because it is a great price.

My dogs chewed up the original remote so I bought a universal one. I complained to a friend about it not working all the functions on my TV. He said go on Amazon and by a actual replacement and so glad I did. It came in 2 day's put the batteries in and it worked immediately with no programming and works all functions and it was $5 cheaper than the universal one I bought first!

Bought this to replace our old Toshiba remote. This was as big a POS as the old one. Don’t ever buy one!! Little late with review but remote upsets me every time I use it.Rod
