Fits Great in a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500
I purchased this set of tail lights to replace the dirty and ozidized originals. I purchased this truck new in 2000 and, after looking at the price of new trucks, I decided to give mine a facelift. After watching a couple Youtube videos I decided to purchase these tail lights even though the Amazon fitment guide said they would not fit. NEWS FLASH......They fit great. I also purchased a LED backup light bulb to intall in these lights on the recommendation of a YouTube video to increase the brightness. The hardest part of the project was removing the old harness. The clamps that hold in the wire loom were old and a real pain in the butt to get them to release. On the drivers side, after fighting the clamps for a while I just cut them off and replaced them with zip ties when I routed the new wire loom. To make the installation under the truck bed easier I did lower the spare tire (it also gave me the oppurtunity to check the tire pressure). The whole project took about 1 hour and the result is amazing. It really did spiff up the look of the truck and everything works perfectly. The new tail lights have 4 bulbs and the old one had 3. Don't worrry about that. The running light on the new tail light just works with the turn signal. The packaging was good and the delivery was very quick. The price included all new light bulbs as a bonus, however like I said, I did replace the backup bulb with a LED that I also purchased on Amazon. It was a very easy project that was made easier by watching a few YouTube videos. If you have a 99 - 02 Silverado I would recommend you purchase these tail lights to give your truck a more modern look.

I was pleased with the product. It was easy to install, and I used the original wiring harness. It looks great!

Good lights, OEM matching, made in Taiwan,
I was impressed with the fit and finish of the tail lights. Close enough to identical with factory original, that I could not see a difference. With so many questionable listings, I took the chance on these from Amerilight. The packaging says "made in Taiwan" which matters. I was going to reuse my exsting bulbs and wiring harness, but decided that the new o-ring type seals for the bulbs were better than original, and used the harnesses that came with the new lights. Bulbs are traditional incandescent types, not LED. Will not throw off circuit resistance and flasher speeds.Installation note: there are little clamps that go into holes in the steel plate of the bed. You can pop these open with a screwdriver to release the cabling OR remove the clamps from the bed with careful pinching with your fingers on the backside. Save and reuse them, do not toss.Appearance of new tailights really helps the overall appearance of the truck for low cost and effort. Similarly I replaced yellowed headlight lenses and refreshed the front end. Old truck looks pretty good.Fit reference: 2007 "Classic" 2500 HD Duramax Quad Cab w/ short bed

2006 Chevy Silverado 2500
Shipped quickly, fits perfectly on my truck, bulbs work, looks nice, super easy install.... except that it would be nice if it came with screws. My old tail light screws were completely rusted and unusable, so I had to go buy new ones from Autozone; as this new tail-light assembly kit did not include them. Not a big deal, just an extra step that I wasn't expecting.

Fits perfect on 2007 2500 Classic
Fits my 2007 2500 Classic like a champ.. They appear to be of very high quality.Used the existing bulb harness as I didn't feel like crawling around under the bed trying to trace and unhook everything.Old bulb harness fit perfectly and ops checked good. Kept the New ones and all the bulbs as spares.

Great improvement in the looks for not too much dough!
Old taillights were dull and scratched - these came with ne wiring and bulbs, which I didn't use since all that was wrong was the plastic lenses. It was literally a 10 minute swap, couple screws, pop the bulbs out, put them in the new lens, couple of screws and down the road you go! Made a huge difference in the look of my 20 year old truck. Headlights next! And the price was right, too - best and cheapest upgrade out there.
