I had a few wear holes in my center console. Was looking at getting it re-upholstered by a local guy, until I saw this one. For the money, I had to try it. Perfect fit!

This was a replacement for my 2009 Silverado 2500HD. One of the screws on the inside cover was already stripped upon taking the new lid out of the package. You will need to remove the inside covers on the old and new to replace this lid. Save the old screws from the inside cover you will need them. The hinge holes where this attaches were off by quite a ways on the new lid. Also it doesn’t come with screws to attach the new lid to the hinge. The old hinge screws do not fit the new lid holes. I took four of the inside cover screws out of the new lid and those worked for attaching the hinge to the lid. I then used four of the old lid screws to get the inside cover attached. It doesn’t close easy like the old one. I have to slam it shut. It still works. Just not like the original. For $45 though it is really nice to have a clean crack free lid. That’s why it still gets 4 stars.

Better quality than my last Amazon replacement center console armrest, it feels more like leather than my previous replacement, my last replacement lasted 3 years before developing a elbow tear.

Easy to install. No issues.

Very nice quality I think (time will tell.) Actually a little wider than the original and seems a higher quality.
