Satisfied with Belkin again.
I have seen a significant increase in through-put (2-3X) with this router from my previous Belkin N+ router. The web utilities are useful and intuitively laid out. I tend to run multiple computers on it at the same time and having the dual band helps with that, running one on the 2.4Ghz freq and the other on the 5Ghz Freq. I am not as happy with the USB utilities as with the previous router USB utilities but it is still functional and acceptable for the most part, every now and then I have an issue with a computer "seeing" the 2TB hard drive I have connected through it but it is a rare occurrence that corrects by turning the utility off then on again.

Great router but lackluster QoS
I purchased the 1750 ac in order to use is as a wireless access point with my ISP's 802.11g router functioning as a bridge. Installation and setup were incredibly intuitive and easy despite the relatively advance configuration I was implementing and I was able to set up the router within 10 minutes. The user interface is once of the best I've seen, however I used the manual set up through the dashboard so I did not have any experience using the auto configuration. Once the router was installed my network range more than tripled and my speeds were 45/35 mbps when connected through ethernet and 20/30 mbps when 80ft away and on another floor, so I am very happy with the range and speed. Previously, I had been getting a maximum of 3/10 mbps with my g router. My only problem with the router was that once the QoS was set up through intellistream there were 0 options for any configuration. I would prefer to be able to modify the prioritization of the data or increase the priority of a specific connection/computer/port. However, this feature will most likely be completely unnoticed by a normal user.Bottom line: This is a great router choice in every aspect except the QoS is too basicBackground:Advanced user trained in cisco networking

and it was easy to set up
I received this Jan 2015, and it was easy to set up, however, after 3 months, my computer started to stall and I thought it was my internet connection. I would have to unplug everything, wait 3 min., and plug everything back. Then messages from Belkin would pop up, saying my cord is defective, so I bought a new one. This message popped up a few more times, and the Belkin number popped up and said to call for technical support. When I called technical support, the tech guy said I needed to buy an extended warranty to get the new password for $19.99 for the one time use of the tech support, or for $29.99, I could get the extended warranty for 6 months. I told him absolutely not. I just bought this router, and why should they hold my computer hostage, and not allow me to connect to the internet. He told me for a fair price, I could buy a brand new one for $99 or for the top Belkin, I can buy one for $149. I told him I was going to complain, and I told him I was not interested in his "deal." Once I got off the computer, my computer was running as well as the Belkin router. This is my second Belkin in an 18 month period. First one did the same thing, which I bought at Office Depot. The ONLY reason why I bought another Belkin is, my internet provider said it worked best using a Belkin router. Never again....as soon as my contract is over, I plan to buy a Linskys (very reliable). Another complaint I have is, this one is advertised for a larger house, and when I use my kindle or other devices needing wi-fi, it only covers half of the house. If you are gaming or streaming, you will lose signal. Every morning when I get on my computer, I have to spend 30 min. trying to get a connection. I still get an error message from Belkin. I am disappointed in this Belkin AC 1750. I would also like to mention, when you call tech support, it must have been in India because the guy had a heavy accent, and he was hard to understand.

Belkin used good internal hardware, but fails to deliver in the final product to consumers
The Belkin AC1750 (F9K1115) is the first Belkin router I have ever purchased. My main reason for going with this router was the use of the new Qualcomm-Atheros VIVE line of chips (QCA9558, QCA9880 & QCA8337) that power this router. While the range is rather good on this router, 5GHz band throughput is another story. With a 2x2 Intel AC 7260 adapter in my laptop, the best I could wirelessly from reading files from my Netgear ReadyNAS 312 was 21.4 MB/sec in the 5GHz AC connection. Compared to the 42.2 MB/sec I get doing the same transfer with the Zyxel NBG6716 as my router, which has the same exact Qualcomm-Atheros VIVE chips inside it. Roughly a 50% difference in performance using the same chips? Come on Belkin, that is just sad.The second thing to disappointment me with the Belkin AC1750 router was how a user can only assign/reserve LAN IP’s manually for everything or have the router do it all automatically. All other routers I have used let you reserve specific IP’s to devices on your network and anything you do not reserve automatically gets assigned. For me, the only pros with this router is the case design (sleek & minimalist) and the range on both 2.4GHz & 5GHz bands being that the chips in this router do not support beamforming.
