Very flexable.
I wish I went one size larger. 18mm Heat shrink tube would not go over my rca cable ends. It was close the next size up would have worked. Not a problem with the model I got. It is loaded with features and worked well. There are many online instruction videos.

New manual cutter. The old auto cutter system would get stuck.
Best 3/4” width label machine for the price . I’m an Electrical Contractor and this suits me perfect for indoor labeling of equipment.

OH BROTHER... THIS GUY IS A BEAST!
In 2017, I bought an orange Brother Industrial PT-E100 Handheld to use for work and absolutely appreciated everything about it, but over time it developed some minor printing issues that became too annoying to deal with anymore. So since the little brother E100 appears to no longer be available, I decided to upgrade to the PT-E300. First of all, everything about the E300 is bigger and more masculine in comparison. Though it also can accommodate six (6) AA Batteries. This model comes with an awesome drop in rechargeable battery cassette that charges through the handheld with an included 120v wall plug adapter. Just because I'm a big rechargeable fan, I ordered a second drop in battery to avoid downtime. The monster of case this unit comes in provides more payload for storing additional printer label cassettes. I won't know until I use it more just how well it works in the field, but based on my experience with an array of BROTHER high quality products and their amazing customer service. My expectations are extremely high that the 300 will do the job nicely!

Works well in the shop.
Pros and Cons while using this label maker in a diesel repair shop.Pros: easy to change cartridges, can use supplied lithium battery or 8 AA disposable, It can print barcodes, and verticle wire labels.Cons: Not going to hold up to grease and oil, the case it comes with is super bulky and has a bunch of wasted space, the supplied label.tape is thin and doesn't stick the greatest, It looks durable, but I wouldn't drop it the rear cover for the the access seems pretty fragile.I do recommend it for shop work though. Keep away from the grime and it'll be fine. I also recommend the stronger adhesive and wider cartridges for it (the ones in my pictures)

Versatile and handy
I love all the different symbols this has, and the ability to print in both regular labels and heat-shrink tubing is great. We label electrical wiring with heat shrink, and basically everything else in the house with labels. The rechargeable battery is fantastic. And also I enjoy that it’s orange.

It's a great item but buy local not Amazon, the Amazon customer service suck!

Works great
Easy to use. Easy to switch tape sizes. Prints quick. The rechargeable battery is the best thing about it.

Works great.
Has a QWERTY keyboard which I prefer. Battery lasts quite a while. Survived a for foot drop fine but I don’t plan to test this deliberately. Good features and easy to find the right setting. I figure it is well thought out if I can change settings without the manual and I haven’t needed it yet.
