This batch has wrong color, had to throw it away
I had this "172 Classic Grey" (DuraSeal brand) bought and applied 4-5 years ago (plank "O" on the photo). Also, this time around my contractor bought it from the local shop (plank "C" on the photo). They matched perfectly. But the 2 cans which I bought on Amazon... didn't match, the color was way too light (plank "A" on the photo). It's non-returnable, so I'll have to throw it away. Of course, other customers are unlikely to need an exact color match... but who knows what else can be "different" with this batch? Maybe I was actually lucky that the color didn't match and so I didn't try to apply this stain? ;-)

Holds up under our heavy-use red oak floors (pix)
We have a custom color of grey and hickory on our red oak floors.The grey is an awesome color base that has just enough depth to set our floor color apart from the standard 'dark brown' or 'cherry' colored red oak.We love it and it is easy to mix into our neutral and hickory when we need to do touchups.
