This is a 1" bilge plug for a 1" hole..will expand some when u crank on T handle !!!! Making ur application water tight..

Q: How do you tighten it without hurting your fingers? Especially in a limited space?

Glove, or take a pipe and make a notch to use as an extension tool

Q: What size hole is needed for this? Please only answer if you know. I'm guessing 7/8".

measure the hole you want to buy the plug for and you can order it usually7/8” to 1"

Stainless is a must for saltwater

Very good quality...

Had a drain plug that looked and felt cheap. This one is night and day better. Looks much higher quality, including the rubber seal portion. The handle portion is thick and turns very easily (I much prefer twist plugs to those that snap up). Quick tip--hit the rubber portion with a rubber/vinyl conditioner!
