This mask was purchased for protection from dust while mowing grass in a dusty atmosphere, it works well. It must be noted though that it only a single layer of material, other N-95 mask I’ve had had two layers. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead 5

Help to avoid dust breezing, with quality matter

I use these when working with wood or very dusty areas.They work good & the price was good.They fit nice too.

I use a lot of masks in my business. The mask is NOT physically smaller than a G&F or 3M 8210v but is smaller than a 3M n8511 which is softer and blocks glasses. Because of the mask shape and the location of the strap mounts it seals around the cheeks better than the G&F which gaps here on small female faces. The straps are soft and woven, and heat fused to the mask. The valve is larger than the others but sits closer to your nose (slightly). The filter material is substantial, and unlike the G&F the nose metal shaper is heavier and holds its shape better though not nearly as well as the 3M 8511. Unlike the 3M's there is virtually no smell*, A BIG PLUS! Like the 3M's, the bag holding the masks is not sealed, and not bread clipped like the 3M either. The nose foam is substantial, but I will still use a secondary contoured nose foam so the mask seals better and does not loosen over time or hurt the bridge of the nose though I haven't long term tested this yet. At this discounted price this mask is a steal! * UPDATE: Turns out, not such a steal after all! Second shipment, on sale, opened plastic bag and faced a very strong lemony perfumy chemical stench VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE PREVIOUS PURCHASES and NOT DISCLOSED PRIOR TO PURCHASE! Explains the reduced price. NOT USABLE! This actually started out as a positive review! A shame. Update #2: Too be fare, after airing out the masks for more than a week, and blowing out the smell with a hair drier, the smell is almost gone, however the price went way up. Now way too expensive to be practical. Oh well! Update #3 bought more because of the black Friday discount. They shipped one box slapping the ship label directly on the product's thin paper board wrapper! Arrived broken and contaminated! This mask is a medical protective device to filter out disease. What were they thinking? Will request a refund. Again, a shame. Penny wise, pound foolish! You will eat more product and loss of resale and reputation than you could possibly save! This is coming from a retired accountant!

I think they will work, bought them to protect me from leaf dust. Have only used one so far.
