Lo-med-hi brightness settings via remote
The media could not be loaded. Update: one year later, they are still working fine. I turn them on when I use my patio at night; they don't get everyday use, but typically at least once a week. We have had some impressive windstorms, and a small amount of water has gotten into the plastic bulbs. Yes, I would still buy them again. And although my profile says Vine voice, I bought all of these with my own money.I bought because of the price and reviews on other Brightech lights, but these are so much better than I expected. Here's some features that weren't really apparent in the listing. They work dusk to dawn, until the battery runs out at least. You don't have to use the remote to turn them off during the day.The buttons on the remote change the brightness of the lights. On is lo, 2h is hi, 4h is med. They remember the last setting. Every evening they will turn on to the last brightness level selected. The Off button on the remote will allow the battery to charge, but not turn on the lights at night. There is an on-off switch on the back of the solar panel. When switched to Off, it doesn't appear to charge the battery. The on-off switch resets the brightness setting to lo, same as if you pushed the On button on the remote. The IR sensor for the remote is on the back of the panel. Might cause issues if you are using the screw mount or the ground stake. The remote only has a range of 6-9 ft (2-3m) in the dark of night. There is no rotation adjustment on the mount. The only adjustment is tilt up and down. Major design flaw for a solar product, as you really need adjustments to face the sun.The wall mount is permanently attached to the solar panel. Every other attachment connects to it. Aesthetic issue if you're using the ground stake. The clip mount is the wall mount screwed to a clip. The screws seem undersized for the hole.If you order multiple strings, the same remote can control all of them.Overall, the quality seems fine. It has survived several wind and rain storms with no issue and no water intrusion into the bulbs. I'm thrilled that I can adjust the light output as needed for the ambiance, instead of merely setting a timer like I thought. I like that I can leave the lights off when I am not out there, too. Instruction sheet says the brightness levels are 100%, 200%, and 400%, which seem reasonable. I like the filament style look better than the led-studded tube in the pictures from other Brightech offerings; looks more like an old style Edison bulb. The plastic bulb housings unscrew easily if you ever got condensation in the bulbs and need to empty it. The cord is thick and seems sturdy. There's no promises of gift cards or other scams for a good review, though they do offer a 10% discount for their website if you post a picture of their lights on your Insta. This light set is not yet available from them, though. The bad things to note are relatively minor. The clear plastic filament covers did get slightly scratched in transit. They're not covered with any protective material. I personally like not having the hassle and waste of extra packaging. The face of the credit card remote was stuck on slightly crooked, where it didn't lay flat. I gently peeled it off and replaced it where it belongs using the original adhesive. There is a good amount of extra cord, around 18", on the end for some reason, and you will have to wrap it or tie it off or something. The remote range is woefully short at 6-9'. Minor issues. The lo setting is enough to light my way in a 8'x12' pergola section with a 12' top. The hi setting is enough to eat dinner, and brighter than the redneck dual 300 LED Christmas icicle light strings I had tossed up there.I would buy these again, provided they last a decent amount of time. The build quality gives me high hope that they will. I would pay a premium to get the extra features the remote offers over the other Brightech and other brand models. Even if you lose the remote, when you switch the panel switch off and on, it behaves just like the version without the remote. When I purchased, this was selling at a discount to the other models, which made it a steal.

Good quality and duration of light into night with multiple settings to choose and remote
Have been very happy with these outdoor, solar lights. Ordered two 48' lengths and utilized by stringing between nine foot high 4x4 light poles with about 20-22 feet of spacing. Like the illumination quality and three levels of brightness/energy use. Pretty good duration of light into night. Used at commercial Agritourism business this past fall. Creates nice environment. One of two strings did start to loose some duration (time) of light by end of our season, but may have been dropping sun angle on solar panel. Like the remote. Still working on whether we can keep on before sun goes down completely. I think I would buy again, but will know more in our second season of use.

Before Dawn
Easy to install. Bright enough to light up the entire deck. Wake up in the morning they’re still going. Love these!

It very bright
I get plenty of sun but these aren’t very bright. I figured the solar would be less bright than electric so I will be purchasing another brand of electric ones for my patio.

Did not disappoint
The lights are beautiful! I was worried as the instructions said they would have a slight charge out of the box and they didn’t. Chatted with customer service and was told to leave the solar panel in the sun for 48 hrs. I did and they have worked beautifully since I bought them mid May. I love them and would buy them again-they come on at dark and stay on until it gets light. Amazing. Good quality and great price. Would definitely buy again.

They work great!
Update - my original review, below, was in May 2022 - and they still work great. It's almost 2025. Very pleased.I have only had these for a couple of weeks but they seem to work really great, they charge well and last for as long as I need them to in the evening for a couple of hours and they are plenty bright with multiple levels of brightness. They look pretty good too. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how good these are for the price. I had looked at some at Harbor freight and other places and these were less expensive actually but it turns out they work really well. I am interested to see how long they last as far as the battery longevity. Hopefully that will stay around for a long time because I like the idea of it better than having to hardwire it to my house or find a plug which looks kind of crappy. I'm in San Diego though so it's fairly sunny although we are in May gray time of year where we get some clouds most of the month but it has still had enough charge to last me every evening while I am barbecuing. The remote control kind of sucks on it but it works and I don't really care that much about a remote control so long as it does it's function. Overall very happy with this.

Outstanding product
Purchased in 2020Small outdoor brush fire that melted the bulbs…they ALL still work. Lights have been hanging outside under a few trees since the 2 sets were purchased in 2020…they ALL still work. They are 24/7 in the South Carolina weather.HIGHLY recommended!

Worth the money
Love this product. The remote works from well over 100 feet away and the lights are as advertised. I would give this 5 stars because it is a really great product for the money but the length from the solar panel to the first light is only 3 feet. If you want it to be the 6 feet as the picture shows then you have to buy the extra extension. Also the panel only rotates up and down. It does not swivel side to side.
