Nice boat!!
This is pretty nice remote control watercraft. It's well made and durable. Remote works well with great range. Lots of fun! Goes fast but be aware it can flip with speed and maneuvers, and you'll have to flip it back manually. I do with the battery life was a little longer, but I still feel like it was a good value.

A nice, inexpensive RC boat
This boat exceeded what I expected for this price point. A lot of electronics and "waterproof" systems for the Amazon cost.To get set up, you need 4 AA batteries and a Phillips 0 screwdriver. Neither of these are included. Loading the AA batteries in the handheld controller had no surprises. One battery pack is included with the boat. A second would be nice but still got a reasonable amount of time before the controller signaled the battery was low. The rechargeable battery took a couple hours to charge. Haven't tried using a high output charger to reduce the charge time.Probably the most difficult aspect of this boat is getting the cover off and back on the first time. Not a big problem but it does require a little care. Once in the water, the boat paired instantly and was ready for use. The boat performed well. It has a true throttle which on many low-end RC devices is reduced to on/off. It also has reverse. Did flip the boat a couple times. Didn't yet master righting it using the power controls, but after getting upright again there was no evidence of water inside.I have no real complaints. When I first inspected the boat, I found a screw inside, gunked up with glue. I was curious if something wasn't properly assembled, but I think it was a loose screw that dropped and got into the glue and left. Not a problem. I have had lots of fun with my grandson playing in shallow water (it does work best with calm water). A nice addition to the toy cabinet.

Did not work - never paired
Tried this multiple times - to make sure we charged it, make sure batteries were fresh etc. Never paired with the remote, so it never worked. My son was SO excited to use it. It was disappointing when after several days of several attempts we finally had to give up.

This thing is fun!
The media could not be loaded. I’m impressed with a few things with this boat. The range is very good. It went close to 100 yards from where we were on the lake and probably could have gone further but we didn’t want to risk not being able to retrieve it. I like the controller will beep when the battery starts getting low. We got about 15 minutes of playtime with the boat when running it. It took about an hour to recharge the battery. This thing is fast for the size of the boat. One thing I noticed is that right turns are very sharp because of the direction the prop is turning. The prop turn also causes the boat to lean to the right in some instances. Not a major deal and it did not appear to affect the boat running straight. One other reviewer mentioned wanting a second battery, which I totally agree with. You can find these on Amazon, which I just ordered a spare. Just make sure you get the right size battery with the appropriate connectors that work with the boat and the USB charger. The second battery will extend your playtime as 15 minutes tends to go by rather quickly while enjoying this thing. The quality of this seems to be decent for the price point. It did not get any water inside the hull when using the boat. The lid can be a little tricky to fit in place but not too difficult to get secured on the boat if you just pay attention to what you are doing. There is no switch to turn the boat on. It turns on when you place it in the water. Have the controller turned on and once the contacts on the boat hit the water, it pairs to the controller instantly. I like that!Overall, I am very satisfied with this boat.

Quick little boat, but sharp!
I'm honestly surprised at how fast this little boat move and boogies as it goes through the small waves in our above ground pool, but I did notice that this thing turns very poorly to the left and I'm not seeing much of anything adjustable to fix this.Besides that, I've had a lot of fun with this toy as you get at least 15 minutes of battery life sending it around the pool, it will even be and let you know when the battery is getting low. I'd definitely be careful with this toy around the kid as at speed, the tip of the boat is sharp and I actually put a hole in the chlorine canister floating around. In the box there does seem to be fantastic place over the tip to soften the front so I would definitely recommend that, but it is fun ramming in the things.
