Having tried to remove c clips with circlip pliers this was like a gift from heaven.No more slipping, simple effective tool.

Pliers are as described and feel like they are very well built.

Now, these bad boys are spot on for agricultural and plant machinery using snap rings in transmissions and final drives. Any mechanic worth his salt needs these in their arsenal of tools.

I have stripped the gearbox of my Renault Master and having tried every set of circlip pliers and various bodges I found nothing would touch the snap rings on the shafts. Trying to wedge srewdrivers etc. behing the rings looked like it would do some damage along the way. These pliers are long enough to get good leverage on the clip and spread it properly to enable it to be removed in one go. It will still slip if you don't get everything properly lined up but it's so much easier. They really saved me a lot of frustration. I would have preferred a better locating position for the clip but for the price they got the job done, the quality is good for occasional use and I am happy with them.

Used to fit the snap ring on gearbox mainshaft (Land Rover Series). Worked well. Job done
