The battery was okey! I bought it for my hp envy x360 after the first battery died. I am an engineer so I installed the battery myself, which was easy for me. The battery came empty, so I had to fully charge it without using my laptop. Once ful, I started using my laptop and I didn't realized it was unplugged until I my laptop was at battery saving mode at 30%, which was about 2-3 hours of use. I thought the discharge rate was too fast but again I was using unreal engine, which requires a lot of power. After plugging the laptop back, it turned off randomly and it does that from time to time, which is annoying when doing my work. But my laptop is 5 years old and I don't really expect much of it at this point. Overall, I'm not complaining of the quality of the battery based on its price. The installation is easy, but it doesn't last long and it might turn off your laptop randomly if the laptop is older.***UPDATES***The company reached out after my review and proposed to send me a new unit, which arrive within 2 days after they placed the order. I was really happy that the new unit came with tools to easy the installation process (although I already had mine). I did the installation myself again and the battery was still empty and needed to be charged. After that, I was able to use my laptop without any issues, it's not turning off anymore and I have left my little sister play minecraft for 3 hours without the laptop plugged in and the battery was still around 70% charged. Overall I'm satisfied with the costumer service and I am so relief that my 5 years old laptop is back to life again. I am definitely recommending this company and their product!

I bought this to replace a dead OEM battery in my wife's HP Envy 2-in-1 laptop. I made sure to match the amps, watts, and volts to the OEM battery. It has the same form factor and fit into the case with no trouble at all.It's been several months now and so far it also matches the OEM in performance: charge time, battery life, heat, etc. with one exception: the laptop will not recognize the new battery as an official replacement part even after flashing the bios and updating what drivers I could. So every single time it boots it throws up a warning saying the battery is not compatible with the laptop and may cause damage, but so far it's been running with no issues.And this is a laptop that is on for 12+ hours a day, every day, moved all around the house, plugged and unplugged, doing everything from writing word docs to zoom meetings to watching twitch/youtube to playing games. So I feel confident that the boot warning is a paper tiger. The battery is solid.I would say double-check that the amps output and watt/volt charge requirements match up to the OEM battery being replaced and hopefully your only issue will be an annoying message that delays your startup by 30 seconds.

I replaced a dead battery in a HP Envy 17m-ae0xx with this replacement (NOTE: HP says a replacement for this laptop not available, so that explains why I chose this off-brand). The removal of the back cover on the laptop was a bother, not aided much by YouTube videos. Once the back was removed, however, removal of the old battery and installation of the replacement was a two-minute task. Instructions for the battery suggest charging to 95%, then discharging to 5%, and repeating this process twice more. This process serves to condition this Lithium Ion battery to help ensure longevity. Quite satisfied so far, but admittedly the computer has not been tested through time. I'll modify this review at some later time once I can evaluate the ability of the battery to hold a charge trough the long term.

Worked well for about a month and then started losing all charge overnight. Don't recommend - only give you a month to return it!!!

The battery fits my laptop and works great. This is the second battery I have ordered from them. The previous one worked for a little over a year. So these batteries work but are cheap and last for about a year give or take a couple months.

This replacement battery installed without any issues. I'm no longer hassased by my system to replace the battery. This was a good value & has extended the life of my laptop.

Perfect fit and full oem battery life out of the box. Good purchase.

So far the battery is doing a perfect job. 5/5 stars.On the other hand, installation is not the easiest as partial disassembly of laptop is required. Online videos (Google) can be found which give detailed instructions. Not the fault of the battery. This is a "feature" of this HP laptop, probably designed to reduce weight and costs, but makes battery replacement not a task for novices. I did find out that Best Buy Geek Squad will do the replacement for you for a price.
