It goes from a high-level approach to the small details covering all necessary aspects of a product life cycle. You can understand in each step why you need to do something and how to do it with practical examples and deliverables support. This book is an essential reading to go deep into product management foundations.

I could see this book being very attractive to a non-technical reading looking to enter into a technical world where order needs to be created to understand the processes. But coming from a very technical background I am used to reading manuals that tell you to do this to get that and it is up to you to figure out when you need to do this and not that. So to me the book seems to drone on a bit rather than getting to the point at times. More times than I would have liked. But I love listening to the author and he does have some great webinars/seminars, I would love to try his training at some point. It would be even better to go through a real world product life span process, using the concepts laid out in this book.

The best comprehensive Product Management Book this far.Ken Sandy's book the Influential Product Manager is probably the best Product Management book in the market right now. It was released just the other week.I appreciate the book since it turns the strategic thoughts into actionable items.The book is easily read with a smooth language. But what makes it stand out is the usability of the book. It is filled with lists, tips, and examples that make it easy to USE the book.

I love how Ken provides extensive insight but also gives pragmatic strategies for practical application and execution.

I went through the audio book. This has been one of the best book on the subject of product management. It is very thorough with great examples. I could relate to the author's examples with the technology and design world I've been in. Author's website that accompanies the book is also a wonderful resource. What a monumental work! The author put heart and soul into this. I highly recommend this work to anyone in product management, design, and engineering. Both beginners to advanced in the field will benefit from this.

I've read books like Cracking the PM interview, and though they help you tailor your answers to commonly asked questions, they don't really go deep into the thought process behind your answer or the interviewer asking them, making your answer seem more robotic. This book is very insightful and helps you understand the ins and outs of product management with great detail and examples. I enjoyed reading it (it's an easy read!), especially the short stories and visuals that helped structure the concepts. I started to understand the processes that go into each task a product manager has and how they related to my own experience, and now I feel more prepared to answer interview questions with a more natural approach!

As someone who is interested in learning more about the role of a Product Manager, I found this book incredibly helpful since it covers a wide array of topics while also providing the essential aspects of a PM. This book has easily digestible content and is very comprehensive since it covers chapters ranging from "Discover and Validate Customer Needs," to "Capture User-Centric Requirements." My favorite chapter was "Define the Right Product," which tested my assumptions and taught me how to implement hypothesis-driven specifications to start exploring solutions. Highly recommend it!

Hands down the most wholistic and result driven Product Management textbooks out there!
