It's a sprung cord so about 1.5m but will stretch to about 2.5m

Can these be used for electric drums?

If you drum kit has a 1/4" (6.35mm) Phones out, then yes. If it has a 3.5mm Phones out then you would require a 3.5mm to 1/4 (6.35mm) adapter. A 1/4" line out is not the same as a 1/4" Audio/Stereo out. Look for the headphone symbol. I use these phones with my desktop PC amp but also with my electric Bass amp just fine.
