Q: Can someone help as to know what comb to use 3, 6, 9 12 mm? i don;t know what's the meaning.

For cutting of dog hair I won't go into 32nds or even 16ths as 1/8ths are close enough and I'll round it into simple rough measurements. To convert to inches , 3mm is 1/8 inch, 6mm is 1/4 inch, 9mm is 3/8ths and 12mm is 1/2 inch roughly. So I hope that helps.

Q: Why aren't blades by number instead of mm? Very confusing as grooming training videos have you using numbered blades. Can you convert to #'s.

Q: I want to confirm the length of the blades. It says the shortest is .8mm however my andis 30blade is .5mm and this blade cuts way shorter?

My Oneisall blade length can be adjusted by tuning between .8mm up to 2.0mm. The smallest guard that comes with the kit is the 3mm. Unless I'm trying to get between paw pads, I always try to use the guards so I'm rarely cutting less than 3mm. That said, I have found that the hair cuts shorter if you go against the direction that the fur/hair falls vs. shaving in the direction that the fir falls. That might explain the difference.
