Buy it!!!!
The LAYCOL Baby Pool Float has been a fantastic purchase. It is easy to assemble and performs excellently in terms of floatability. The float looks great and is highly durable, withstanding regular use without any issues. The size is perfect and true to the description. I got it as a gift for my 10-month-old nephew, and he absolutely loved it. The float was such a hit that everyone was asking where I bought it.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable pool float for their little one!

Grandson loved it!
Purchased for my grandson who was 4-5 months old during the summer. He loved sitting on the side of the pool and kicking his feet. He was no different when we loaded him into this, he had a ball! He was kicking and laughing as he was pulled around the pool! Love the canopy to shield a young one from the sun -- can't be too careful. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a young baby with a pool.

Safe and Fun
Somehow my kiddo could squirm his way down enough to drink the pool water, he was never in danger of going under though. Quick to blow up, adjustable sun shade, and two ways for him to sit. It has never even come close to tipping over even when he squirms and kicks, very well built and safe.

Difficult to get baby in and out
What I like: When fully inflated, this product keeps your baby's head way up away from the water. The front is a nice place for baby to rest his/her head. I don't worry about my baby being in the water in this thing, it is very stable and baby is strapped in good. The sun visor is nice. Being able to put my baby in on her belly or back is nice and it's so comfortable she has actually fallen asleep in here while at the pool. What I don't like: It is so stinking hard to get my baby in and out of this. I'm getting better now that I've done it 20+ times, but it takes a good minute or two and usually involves holding my baby at a weird angle to try and slide her in without dropping her or the floaty. It's ridiculous. And getting her out is only slightly easier. I can't imagine trying to get a baby in here who is only 4 months old and not able to hold their head/body up easily on their own. The waterpark we go to doesn't allow floaties on the slide so I'm constantly getting her in and out so that we can keep up with the siblings and it's a hassle. There are also so many places you have to inflate which means there are lots of seams that can rip. We've had this for less than a year and there's already a hole.

Not a bad product for pool fun!
This float is pretty good. It allows a child to lie backwards if it is under age 2 in the water while securely holding it in the float. When over the age of 2, the child can face the other way and lie more forward, also secured to the float. The float's inflatable compartments are placed in such a way that they keep the child's head and face out of the water. The child can sit straight up, or it can lean forward and his head and face can lie on the pillow in front. The rubber material is much stronger than I was expecting. It looks and feels very durable. The underside of it is clear and has little bell marbles in it so that the float can be used like a giant rattle. The straps securing the child go over the shoulder and anchor at the waist. Make sure you get the new generation version so that you can also get a free sunshade with 50 SPF protection which snaps on easily. The float inflates easily, and easiest with a pump. The valves are clearly labeled which to inflate first, and the stems look very durable. There are a few downsides. One is that the straps are a little hard to tighten or loosen as they are made of strip rubber. They seem very durable but I would use caution when adjusting them because if they snap, that's it for the float---the safety insurance is now gone. Also, it is nice that there are bells in the float, but it's on the underside which is under the water so I'm not sure they are meant for pool use, but for outside of the pool. The last downside is that the float is not meant for children much over 3, so come next summer my child will probably be too big and old for the float, and it is such a good float I will miss using it next summer. So, if you have a young infant that you want to safely take in the water under proper supervision, get this while your child is very young so that you can use it many times over the 2 years and get the most out of your $30.
