Q: Why is there no beef liver or chicken hearts and gizzards or pork in these recipes? I'm not sure I can use these packets.

The packets are designed to provide the essential vitamins and minerals for the raw fed dog. You add the beef, liver, or what ever meat source.

Q: where is this made? Someone told me it's made in China.

Too many times it’s not available. Then I worry about what am I going to substitute in my dogs food when I make their food.I am trying something else. Hopefully it will be a good substitute.

Meal Mix does not contain beef, pork, alfalfa or flax. However there are some native starches used which include corn, rice and tapioca starches.

Q: Is there a possibility of a copper-free version for dogs with liver impairment?

Unfortunately we have yet to hear of a copper free version of this product coming out. However, we would be more than happy to pass this along as a future product suggestion.
