FritzZyme Turbo Start 900 Saltwater (4 oz)

Extremely happy with Fritz. Came in a insulated package with a cooling pad inside so that the beneficial bacteria don't expire. You can either use this directly with livestock. If you do that the livestock will increase the ammonia and nitrate and the bacteria will use that to grow and create more beneficial bacteria. The other way of using it is just to use it with liquid ammonia. 1 Small bottle was enough for my 20 gallon tank. It is safe to overdose 5X according to Fritz so that is what I did. Works super easy.

These products add essential bacteria to both freshwater and marine tanks. My aquarist, who has a degree in Biology, recommends them highly!

This stuff is where it’s at. After almost 2 months of only reading ammonia, I added this to my tank, and the next day I see a spike in nitrite and nitrates. This stuff will start your cycle VERY fast.

Product arrived with cold packets , which is a plus. But arrived a day late and through usps (not reliable to deliver on time), and not Amazon shipping. I had already added a bottle of this the day before in an oversized aquarium. Kinda ruined the plan for adding bacteria. But this product is good and works !

My bare bottom saltwater tank cycle stalled with high nitrites for >5-6 weeks (I attempted to cycle vis dosing a mix of ammonia and fish food; no fish were present). I initially inoculated the tank with Dr. Tim’s, tried multiple water changes, kept phosphate levels elevated, added Seachem Stability; all without success. Within 2 days of using this product, the nitrites dropped by 2PPM. Very impressed with how quickly it worked. The product shipped with a cold pack, though was arrived at ambient temp due to a shipping delay. However, this didn’t seem to have an impact on the effect. There was a slight sulfur odor but this dissipated rather quickly. I also greatly exceeded the recommended dosing (I dumped in 4oz for a 5 gallon tank) with great results. I highly recommend using this product for cycling dry rock saltwater tank. Just spend the extra money upfront instead of wasting time and money on other products.

Product arrived quickly and well packaged. I'm honestly super impressed! It arrived earlier than Amazon expected ETA (as seller mentioned it might).The only thing is the bottle arrived open- the foil seal on top of the bottle was lifted up and a small amount of the liquid had spilled out during shipping. I don't think this is the seller's fault, but rather the manufacturers. I dosed it into my tank immediately, hoping that it being open did not affect the viability of the bacteria.Edit: in regards to my earlier review, the viability of the bacteria was not affected by the foil seal being open. Tank started cycling with 48 hours. Very happy with this purchase.

This product is supposed to be refrigerated and kept cool. It can be in higher temperatures for a short period of time, but thats it. This was sent to me in a standard brown envelope with no temperature control. The product was spoiled, smelled like death, and would have killed any fish had I poured it into my tank.I ordered the same product on Bulk Reef Supply. It was sent in a special temperature control box with a gel pack to keep it cool. Be warned who you buy this from and what the temperature is like between origin and destination.
