Don't count on this to save your life

We were using this to hold sun shades. We had been using a similar product with no issues, but we wanted to change it out for a more aesthetic color. We had a thunder storm roll in, and anywhere we had changed out the rope snapped.Anyway, this was just a shade tie, but I'd never use this for more important tasks. Might make a pretty bracelet? 😅
