Thanks to BayBridgeAquarium for telling me to put in the whole bottle, and shipping so fast, this is impossible to find out here on the Oregon Coast. Started up a new 13g EVO recently, but had some bad advice, did not cycle right. Have a Midas, Watchman Goby, and a Black Ice and had to change the water twice daily for a week just to keep ammonia down. Put this stinky stuff in, by the end of the day my ammonia actually went to 0 and fish look great. Tried this once before a long time ago without great success. I think it worked better this time because it came from a real LFS, so the expiration date was way far in the future. Using the bigger dose probably helped a lot too.

After waiting a month trying to do a fishless cycle and having absolutely nothing happen, I tried Turbostart to see if I could speed things up. This stuff really works, in the 72 hours since I added it, the ammonia level has dropped from 2ppm to 0.25ppm.

I used it to jumpstart my Waterbox 20. Cycled fully in less that a week and has thrived since!

Best, used it for my first saltwater tank. Added fish first day(they hated me) but it works. 1 month and thriving!

I know it’s a great product and this company delivered it quickly but the product smelled really really bad when it arrived. But pour in anyways only to see these little purple balls fall out filling my tank after shaking thoroughly. After some research I found out that the product arrived dead. Emailed with no responses through Amazon. Dissatisfacted with purchase
