Easy to install. Gives me a peace of mind to keep my kids safe from opening the door and running out on their own. Lock quality is made of durable materials. Looks great matches our deadbolt and knob set quite well like it came together. I recommend using long screws and driving it past the door frame in into the studs for added strength. Don't know how well it would protect against a home invasion and hope to never find out, but I do sleep sleep better at night with the added layer of security.

I’ve bought this product 3 times now and have loved it, so I thought I should write a quick review to share my experience over the past several years with these locks. We bought these for my parents house, our house, and now our new house since we moved to keep toddlers from getting out of the house unsupervised. I’m not a skilled handyman, but have had no problems installing these so anyone can do it. The quality is very good as they have lasted several years on multiple doors and continue to look good and work well. I know some reviewers have complained about the screws, but I haven’t had any of the screws break on the 6 I’ve installed so far.Overall I’ve been happy with the quality and strength and will continue purchasing these locks as needed. Highly recommend.

I decided to buy this locks because I live in a condo with a single door lock. That has always kind of bothered me. This lock is sturdy, easy to install, and easy to log and unlock, while providing a lot more peace of mind and security. It is also easy to install, and comes with both short and really long (I am talking 2 to 3 inches long) screws based on your preference. However, I will not be using either of them, as they are both Philips. Instead, I have purchased some 3 inch Robertson head screws that I used for this installation. Installation was not difficult at all. However, I had to shave some wood from the door in order to more easily open and close the lock. However, using a chisel and a little bit of paint, it was not difficult to do at all.I am very happy with how it turned once installed, and it really has given me some extra peace of mind. Which is what I was looking for. As far as durability, I have only had it installed for about a month, so only time will tell. Although I hope that it will work well for a long time to come, as it seems well-made.

We bought these door locks because we have a down syndrome grandchild who likes to escape every chance he gets. I love these door locks because they are easy to install, extremely effective and seem very strong.We have used them now for months and they have served their purpose well. They seem very high-quality, and simple to use. I also like the fact that they don’t look really intrusive on the door jam.

Great for the top of a door that you want children to not reach. Secure and safe! We put them on both doors that lead to our pool. Honestly when adults come over they can’t figure it out so no worry about a kid doing it. Ours are high so young kids can’t reach them anyway

Easy to install and will be safe!

I ordered a couple sets of these because my 5 year old knows how to open the front door. One morning he got excited thinking his uncle was at the door and opened it.. To the mailman.These are not real hard to install and once in place are actually pretty secure so that kids can't open the door easily.These locks are great to keep someone from getting in your door as well. When installing one on the front door I messed up and didn't space it right. Once it was locked that was it. I couldn't get it unlocked. It took me half an hour to literally pry the thing off with a screw driver because I couldn't get out the front door. Lesson learned. Make sure you space it properly before closing your door and locking the device.I also have a metal door and can't add a deadbolt or other locks to the door so this is perfect. These install on the inside of the door frame, not the door.I can't recommend these enough. The screws this one came with aren't long enough but any hardware store will have some you can get.
