Absolutely perfect for my 1997 wrangler (Tj)!!! I looked forever for a tool box online and this is the one!I am very pleased with this product, quality is great, comes with lock and keys. Fits perfectly between the wheel wells. with about 1/4" extra on either side making it very snug. I was able to use existing holes in the body from the factory seats to bolt in place which was nice and made things easier.I'm not sure if it will fit with the back seats in place (*probably on an unlimited (Lj)???)Easily the best box for the money ( I did A LOT of shopping), less than $130 shipped for a high quality product, I highly recommend it!I don't know if Outlaw reads these reviews, but if they did: They could sell a ton of these things marketing them for wranglers. All of my fellow jeepers want one now! Just saying ;)The ONLY con I have with this is it did not come exactly as pictured: The "outlaw" logo is pictured on the bottom right corner, and the one I received had it on the top left.

The item had some damages, but would work well if in perfect shape. Received from Boss Motorsports through Amazon. It does fit into a Jeep. Locking mechanism and pistons are good quality, the thickness of the aluminum allows for a 170 pound guy to sit on the box, but this isn't a high security box. You could pry it open if you tried hard enough. For the price, it's worth it though and if you don't have a rear seat in your jeep CJ5 this fits well.

This is an excellent quality product for its intended purpose on the back of an ATV. I am using it as a storage box on the front of a trailer. It is no where near the thickness of a DeeZee box but it is also no where near the price. So if you are looking for a light duty storage container this is a great value. Nice and light also.1 YEAR UPDATE:I have reduced the rating to one star because after a year of being on the tongue of my utility trailer it is falling apart. It is only used to hold tie down straps and wheel chocks but the welds are failing and the top section that holds the support piston has completely separated from the lid. If it fell apart this fast riding on paved streets I can't imagine it holding together n the back of an ATV.

This is a good quality box for the price. Other reviews said it was not heavy duty but I find it heavy enough. The seller said it is .090 thick and that's quite good. You could sit on it but I wouldn't say you could jump on it (ha ha why would you want to). It has a normal tool box lock and yes someone could break into it but not easily so it discourages the casual thief. I like the black color, it doesn't blind me when the sun hits it. Plenty of room inside and it came with a non slip pad for the bottom, and brackets if you need them. I put it on the tongue of a utility trailer easily. I bought it on Amazon from boss powersports and they communicated great and shipped very quick. I am quite happy to give 5 stars.

It is in fact a box that you can store things in... that’s until an average person comes along and can strong grip the Locked Latching handle and bump open the lock and access the Lid quite effortlessly.It’s light weight and if you plan on keeping things secure this is not the box you want unless you don’t mind Mounting and Extra Locking Hasp or device to the Very Flimsy thin metal walls. I’m using it just to keep a Winch out of the weather and that is about all I can say it’s good for. I advise never leaving anything of value in this box unattended at anytime.

Built pretty cheaply. Had issues with it pretty early that my husband had to fix. Not bad for the price though

Great. I replaced my old plastic box on my ATV with this. So far I'm very happy with it. Cost is very reasonable compared to others on the market.

I have it bolted down in my pick up truck. I added a short extension to the lid cylinder so it would open all the way, only about an inch or an inch and a half or it will hit the back if it is too long. It works perfectly for what I need.
