if this is a real Selmer it should not be plastic but a hard cast rubber the Yamaha mouth pieces are plastic

I honestly don't remember, however I do not recommend the mouthpiece. Spend the extra money or get a used hard rubber mouthpiece.

Is this a genuine selmer goldentone? the image shows a generic mouthpiece, definitely not a goldentone.
