Purchases a gift for my granddaughter to absolutely loved it, Chose Enid Blyton as a fond Children’s author

I really enjoyed these as a kid and wanted my grandchildren to read them too

I brought these as I haven't read them since I was a young child.It was like I was a young child again

You can’t beat Enid Blyton for a good bedtime story. Each chapter is a single story and just long enough to read to my grandchildren before bed. Also have had some interesting conversations about the stories the next day and discussions of what they think the children in the story did right or wrong.

This is very much of its period so somewhat dated in its language but the stories are gentle and entertaining.

Love these books so ordered one for my grandson as a late present for Xmas. I wasn’t expecting it before but due to the fast processing I received it Xmas Eve so my grandson got it on time! Very happy 😊

My daughter loves the Wishing Chair stories.My daughters own play stories are very elaborate and these are inspired by the great Enid Blyton.Another book to try is the Faraway Tree - great character and bonkers adventures.If your child loves magical fantasy adventure with crazy character, pixies, fairies, flying chairs and magic lands then these two are gold standard books.Both come in triple book sets.
