The product description is incoherent and suspect. I ordered it only because another reviewer had provided photographs that looked like it could fit what I needed.Then I paired it with another risky product, "NDS 113C Series 12x17 Valve Box Cover " ("Vehicle Service Type Passenger Car"--- What the heck??), which also turned out to fit the box perfectly.Bad product descriptions, and I don't think that the Amazon descriptions even link to each other.I owe it all to a reviewer, search perseverance, and luck.

Good fit
Extension fit perfectly over irrigation box but then lid didn’t fit! Had to order lid from a different seller. Surprised this item doesn’t come with a lid. Lid cost more than extension.

Great fit
Fit my valve box that was a few inches to low. Not a way to attach it to the valve box but when you fill dirt in around it stays in place. Should have done this a long time ago.

Fit perfectly
Had read some of the reviews about people saying it didn’t fit correctly. I’m guessing they had another brand of meter box. This fit perfectly for a standard NDS meter box.

Fits perfect, you will not be disapointed
I need to extend two irrigation boxes and saw thsi one. In all honesty thre are only two to choose from. My local hardware store doesn't carry these either. My lid fit so thats a bonus. As you can see from my photos they are made well and if this is teh size you need you can't go wrong.
