Good quality boots
Very comfortable boots. They are bulky and kinda heavy but have worn very well and you kind of expect bulky and heavy if you are looking for ankle, toe, and shin protection. Saved my ankles several times already. Love the color too.

Pretty good boots but they do get pretty flobbery when broken in
I bought my first dirt bike at the very end of May and fell in love with it. I had my first big crash the second week of June and was wearing regular Red Wing work boots. Twisted my ankle really bad, there was swelling that looked like half of an orange sticking out of my leg for a week. Luckily anything that was broken has mostly healed by now. After this experience I decided some dirt bike boots were definitely in order. My main riding buddy swears by the cheap O'Neal boots that are around the same price and he lent me an old worn out pair to use while I ordered some of my own. I did like them but wanted something that matched my bike so I decided to go with the Fly Mavericks...I've had good luck with a few Fly helmets (the colors fade but they are comfy and safe) and pulled the trigger. The boots arrived in great shape with all the tags and stuff still attached. The red matches Honda Red on a 2019 CRF250L perfectly. I wore them around the house a bit that evening to start breaking them in and they were nice and stiff but still comfy. I wear thick boot socks (Thorlo Combat Boot sock, they are almost as thick as wool socks) and have had 0 issues with blisters or soreness.I have ridden with them to work for 2 months now, nearly every day. My typical route is 5-6 miles through the woods on pretty nasty trails; mud pits from quads, huge exposed tree roots, new trees down daily, rain ruts, creek crossings and even a couple of pretty steep hill climbs. Total miles are around 600.The boots are holding up well cosmetically. I haven't had to really clean them much or anything, by the time I go through the deep puddles at the end of my ride home from all the SxS traffic they are rinsed off pretty well. This does have a downside. The boots are not waterproof, at all. I think they actually absorb moisture and deposit it directly upon your feet. I ride through a field of tall weeds daily around 730am. This results in damp feet simply from the dew coming off the weeds as I ride past.Comfortwise these boots are 5 stars all the way. They really feel great. I moved my shifter up 2 notches and have 0 issues shifting until I get very fatigued and lazy. My knee/shin guards (the cheap ones here on Amazon) go under my pants and fit perfectly in the tops of the boot making the front of my leg completely protected, no banged up shins for me even after riding through downed trees, getting bashed the whole way.In terms of durability....this is where I feel these boots may let me down. After 600 miles of relatively 50/50 dirt vs street the boots are reallllly broken in. I can bend the tops over and touch the toes. I was hoping they'd stay rigid for at least a couple of years before having so much flex. They still feel protective but not as armor like as when they first arrived.I like having a very small heel on the boot so that is good for me. The buckles do seem robust and the velcro for the top is strong.Overall I would recommend these boots. They look good, are comfortable, and provide way more protection than regular shoes/boots.

Very stiff
Been riding woods and trails for years but never with real boots, but son wanted a pair so we both not wanting to spend to much got these. Seem to be ok quality for price, I have wide feet but my size fit fine. Only thing we didn’t like is we can’t get them to break in well, they stay very stiff in ankle even after hours of trying different things. Even after 8-9 hours on bike I can’t shift well or rear brake well. Son totally gave up on wearing em.
