Gootium Canvas Messenger Bag - Vintage Shoulder Bag Frayed Style Satchel

Looked a nice strong rustic looking bag.When it arrived, it was exactly that.Nice size (not too big, not too small) and comfortable to carry over the shoulder.

I bought my daughter this messenger bag for school, as she loves the style. It is rugged, robust and capable of carrying everything she needs for school.

Bag has a lot of pockets to store everything you need. It is strong and took a lot of weight when I took it aboard. Can adjust the belt with easy and the colour is good.

I do like the bag, plenty of pockets and side bits, etc. (I wish the strap was slightly longer for my personal taste) I wish I had bought an unfrayed version, but that’s not meant as a negatism! Excellent prompt delivery.

I bought this to keep my bits and pieces in when travelling, and needed something that would accommodate a thick A4 pad, this is just the job. It is absolutely top quality, both the materials used and the stitching with not even one loose thread. It is reinforced in all the right places, yet not unduly bulky. The straps, buckles and snap fasteners all work well, and the zips are very heavy duty with a nice feel about them. The fabric is hardwearing but soft giving the bag a 'relaxed' look. I really can't fault the bag except for two personal preferences, the zip on the main compartment does not fully close that section leaving two open ends under the flip over flap that will let rain in, and the two outside front pockets have no fasteners to stop things falling out. But these are trivial and in truth unlikely to detract from the practicality of this bag given that they can easily remedied by the use of the many other pockets and a loose waterproof cover inside the main compartment. Good size without being bulky, great looks and loads of uses. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Love it - don’t leave the house without it - very spacious and seems well made. Front pockets don’t close but doesn’t bother me as they’re deep enough to not have things fall out. Took it travelling with me around Japan and up Mt Fuji - didn’t let me down!

Well built, suitable for all weather types, i use a leather wax, not so often on it just to maintain it, amazing quality :)

Just the right size, has a heavy duty, weighted feel to it. Strap and fittings, are securely attached to the bag. Zip's are nice and sturdy. Plenty of pockets and no magnetic fastening, just good quality snap poppers. It's comfortable to carry, and deal's with being loaded with books. Only time will tell concerning durability. Would I buy again? Yes.
