My yeast seems dead. Almost no activity after 24 hrs temp is at 75F average, 10lbs sugar in 5gls, Whats going on?

How much of the yeast would you use for one gallon? A teaspoon? A tablespoon?

from what I see a pack will do 10 gal. of wash. can I get larger packs?

I put the entire pack of yeast into 6 gallons of honey mash. is this ok? additionally, the yeast seems much less active, if at all, after a day.
