Clicker sound is bridge between correct behavior & treat reward
Nice getting a number of clickers in same package and different colors. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the click is a little wimpy. It was pointed out by an observer/trainer. I started double clicking (not best technique) but dogs' seem to prefer double clicking. Please remember the clicking isn't the reward. The click is the bridge between correct behavior and giving the treat/reward - buys you time to give the reward. The coil helps you wear around wrist, so not a separate purchase. It is a good value.

Not using it as intended, but works fine anyway.
Got this as recommended for quick positive signal for training new rescue pitbull. Dog has painful background and no home training at all...arrived at shelter with scars all over and one blind eye...had been there in a cage for 3 years. Sweet dog, but so afraid of everything. Used the clicker once when training him to sit and it terrified him! It is quite loud. So now I used it as a signal that what he is doing needs to stop and it works great for that. He is a sweet sweet fellow and is coming along nicely, so I rarely have to use it now.....but it is certainly an effective tool.
