what is the shelf life

From the manufacturer's website FAQ - Our liquid fertilizers have an indefinite shelf-life, until water is added. Always shake well before use. The longer the product is stored, the better you'll have to shake it up.

I like the looks of the reviews but, the smell wouldn't bother me if it works, will it attract bears and raccoons?

This is the hydrolyzed fish and seaweed Mix. It doesn't smell bad when you first mix it up, just be sure to use it all at one time. I mean make small batches like a gallon at a time or quart. Use it all don't let it sit in a container. It then will stink! I haven't had any problems with wildlife. The only thing that might attract is flies.

Where does the fish come from? I am trying to avoid pacific fish because of the Japanese power plant melt-down
