Handy test instrument
Very handy small instrument for checking components. Its tweezer-like function makes it perfect for use with surface mount devices, which are very small. The only minor drawback is the documentation. If you go to the URL listed on the enclosed paperwork, it's all in Chinese. You will have to Google the device name to find the user manual in English, which is a PDF file.

Extremely useful tool
Have used this device @ work to select & identify individual SMD resistors & capacitors. Worked flawlessly.

A good tool, but not very accurate.
Good design, very ergonomic, but software needs improvement

garbage, children's toy
I bought it some time ago and threw it away because it was superfluous, and now I found it in my shop, so I decided to write this review. This "multimeter" will never show you the value of the elements on the circuit board correctly, while a cheap $20 multimeter does it very well. Even for new elements in the box, the values are different every time you measure one and the same element. I thought that maybe the software should be reinstalled or updated, but even without that, shouldn't it take exact values? Also, it is absolutely uncomfortable to work with this multimeter, the needles are weak, and the tweezers are too short. So rubbish, dear.

Inaccurate
I purchased these for measuring SMD components for board-level repairs. I took a chance on it as the middle ground between cheap $20 smart tweezers and those that are $300+, even though there aren't a lot of reviews for the DT71 listings on Amazon. It measured a 22uF Electrolytic capacitor at an average 19.5uF, and the reading danced from 19uF to 20uF the whole time.My cheap $30 LCR Multimeter measured it at 21.5uF with variance around 0.25uF
