Yes it's like a thin batting, great for wall hangings. I mostly use it to give my fabric purses a little body without being stiff. Good stuff.

I think you want to use Heat N Bond Lite. This is something you fuse to fabric when you want to give something a thicker, quilted-like feel (like handmade cosmetic bags, purses, etc).
