Q: I may be allergic to cocomidopropyl betaine, a surfactant made from coconut. Does this shampoo have this compound in it? It only says 'coconut oil'

Thank you for touching base! Our products do not contain and SLS or cocomidopropyl betaine. We are completely free of any synthetic additives. Our certified organic coconut oil goes through a process called saponification (using potassium hydroxide) to turn our oil into soap! During the process of saponification the potassium hydroxide (KOH) is burned off and does not remain in the product. This is what acts as a foaming agent in our products. I love this shampoo, but it is very effective and I don’t use it every day. I think it would dry out your hair too much. If you want to try it I suggest doing the same, or diluting it.

Yes. It is the Deep Treatment Conditioner. It works very well. It detangles your hair and makes your hair feel silky smooth. I like it a lot.
