I have one of those fancy dancy push button flush toilets and the fill valve needed replacement. Despite Lowe's advertising that they had the model I needed, they did not. However, the salesman who helped me told me that a universal flush valve replacement would work. When I got home with the replacement, without even taking it out of the box, I knew that it would not fit. The Lowe's model was about $9. So I went onto Amazon and found the model that I needed. With Tax, it was about $20 but was the exact model I needed. Two problems: first, the usual problem is unscrewing the attachment beneath the fill portion of the toilet. I could not do it so I had my neighbor come over and do it for me. Once the nut was off, it was easy to install the new valve replacement and screw on the new nut. Second problem, the replacement comes with all these little replacement pieces that regulate the amount of water that fills the back of the toilet. The instructions are written in English but they might as well be written in Greek. I could not understand them. So we just put in the valve the way it came and it has functioned perfectly. So I give the valve a 5 star rating. However the manufacturer gets a 1 star rating for not doing any market research to determine if their instructions could be understood by a non-plumber. So make sure that you have a neighbor with a good understanding who can help. Otherwise, you'll have to pay lots of $$ for a plumber to come and help you install or at least interpret the instructions.

After several fill valve replacements we decided to go with this one. Have to say it has proven to be the best one out of all we have used. Easy to install too.

This did the trick with replacing the Glacier Bay flush valve. Don't like how slow it fills the tank, but had the same issue with the original flush valve.

Seriously this was super easy to install. I watched the 2 minute video on “how to” replace it and even though I wasn’t 100% confident that I could do it (since I have never done anything plumbing) I did it! It is easier then it looks! I promise! I first self diagnosed the problem by watching some you tube videos that led me to believe the constant running water noise in my 2 year old toilet was this thing being stuck and sure enough... it fixed my problem and it even comes with these little plugs that you can use to conserve water when you flush by not allowing so much to go through, they just press into the tube. Anyways I ended up buying a second one a month later for my other toilet and did it myself again. Literally shut off the water at the toilet unscrew the old pump and plug in the new one then turn water back on. I’m feeling quite proud lol. I saved tons of money not having to hire someone to do such a simple replacement. Don’t think twice about it. Order it, replace it, if it doesn’t work return it but you won’t. I replaced the original parts of a Gerber toilet. The toilet was making a loud groaning noise when flushed. After installing this part, the toilet actually works better than it had before with the flow adjustment. I used the red cap. Directions could be a little bette but overall a great replacement product!

yes it is fast filling but still quite noisy. don't think I will buy it again. still works and no issues with it's parts but noisy.

Replaced an old R&T model A2417. First time doing this. Installation was easy and took about 7 minutes. It is a bit quieter than my old one. Fill time is the same. Hoping it lasts as long as the old one did.

This was the easiest toilet fill valve replacement that I have ever done! The product was exactly like the online description and was very easy to install and adjust. Will definitely be buying more for the other toilets in my house.
