Worked for a Wii
I use this to connect a Wii to a HDMI switcher. It works fine; you are still upscaling a 480p signal so it won't look great but the connection is okay. You will need to spare another plug to connect it, and buy a USB socket to connect the wire to.I had to flip a physical switch on the adapter to get video to display - prior to that it was only sound - and this seems to be determined by the destination device. Additionally, even when the converted device (in this case, the Wii) is off, the converter constantly outputs a HDMI signal (a blue screen), which may cause some inconvenience to you if your destination display or switcher runs auto-switching based on input.

Nice little box
Used this to connect my ps1 to HD TV. Setup was extremely easy and compact. Screen was a little fuzzy in some areas but can not complain once playing away it was hardly noticeable.Would recommend this as a cheap and quick connection compared with the higher end stuff out there.

Poor picture quality, but works
For £10 it's an ok piece of kit. I wanted to get the old girl (ps2) up and running again. Very easy to set up. You can probably get it cheaper. Now the 720p & 1080p switches are rubbish, displays the same with no difference. I don't know if it's my eyes being used to sharp images on the ps5, but, the picture that I got was terrible! So blurry it kinda ruined the playing experience. I've increased the sharpness on my tv, but, it's still not great. I would give this 7/10.

Ps2 converter
This is excellent as we have a modern hdmi TV and this takes red white and yellow ribbon cables and converts to hdmi

Avoid. This is a waste of time & money.
The idea of this adaptor is marvellous: take an analogue output from a VHS (or whatever), digitise it & output the digital signal across HDMI. What could possibly go wrong? In Caifu's case, the answer is: everything:–• NTSC only (USA/Canada/Japan) (I'm in the UK, so a PAL signal)• Digital files are 8x larger, same quality• Scan errors• Palette distortionsI took two VHS recordings that I had previously digitised using a USB grabber and compared the results to this AV Converter.Setting it up & using it was simple; I already had the necessary cables & everything is colour-coded, so that was easy. It was the results that were the problem.I wish that it had worked, but Caifu has one fatal problem: the adaptor recognises that it is PAL (a little logo appears near the start in the corner), but converts it as NTSC regardless. The scan-rates & colour palette are radically different; PAL is 25 fps whilst NTSC is 29.97 fps ('30000/1001' to be very accurate). The actual A-to-V transfer is very good: individual frames are sharp with the Caifu & much better than my earlier transfer. What a shame that everything else is botched. The 720p/1080p 'upscale' is badly implemented, with no option to retain original proportions. That means that football players suddenly gain several inches in waist measurement. No digital device can *improve* the picture quality supplied from a VHS, as the number of pixels supplied is fixed; if a device doubles the number of pixels in the picture that is just bigger, not better. But in fact, Caifu have botched it.The way that smart devices increase the size of a picture is by making each pixel bigger, which means zero increase in file size. In fact, the Caifu files are more than 8 times bigger than the older files:• old: 720x576 (PAL, 4:3)• new: 1920x1080 3.33x• old: 25 fps• new: 29.97 fps 1.20x• old: 1.8 GB• new: 14.9 GB 8.28x

Works great
A bit bonkers that it needs external power, thoer than that works great.
