After receiving my foot sleeves I was, to be honest, a little disappointed, reason being I wondered how just compression sleeves could alleviate my heel pain. I have suffered with Plantar Fasciitis for quite a few years but with expensive orthotic shoes the pain has been manageable.When I put the sleeves I was amazed at how they made my feet feel. The compression points firmed up my feet and the arch support was noticeable. I wore them for a couple of days then decided to refrain from using them for a couple of days to see if I was imagining things, I was not. Male. Have Plantar F in my right foot, wear a 101/2 shoe which is a tad large for me, the medium size sleeve fits snug, as it should. You can wear them under socks but I only wear them at night in bed or during the day around the house in Oo Fos sandals, you can feel the support. Would recommend trying but from what I read they work for some not for others, low price makes them worth a try.

The socks helped relieve foot pain. However, one sock was shorter/smaller. Also, the socks do not stretch very well. They were too tight around ankle. There was swelling do to the tightness of the material.

Sleeping in these socks has changed my life- I'm not exaggerating. Expensive sneakers and orthotics failed to improve my extremely painful symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis, but ten days after purchasing and wearing these every night I am 100% pain free. My feet hurt less than what I thought was "normal" even before I developed Plantar Fasciitis this year, and I'm once again able to walk distances in cute shoes without pain. I'd give this product 15 stars- I was dreading an upcoming international trip and now I am excited to be able to explore on foot.CON - the only con I can name is that the fabric has started to pill a bit already- but I move my feet in my sleep so that's part of the cause. I do worry that the tight compression will loosen with use, but given that I can get a dozen pairs of these socks for the price of the really ugly orthotic shoes I was using to control my pain, I'm not deducting any stars.

These are designed to be tight. But I purchased a medium based on sizing info (package suggested small...but I went up a size) and they are still impossible to put on without 15 minutes of contortion.

Doesn't fit right can't even get on very well. Felt too much pressure when I had it on. Too tight

These are sleeves, which a nylon cut-out for your heel. The compression indeed is above & around your ankle, and, around your arch; the heel is free to move.I have the plantar symptom, which manifests for me as a back-heel bone-spur. Approx every few years, I start getting inflammation of my heel/arch, which goes away with treatment after a week or so; it is tender during this recovery period.To my amazement, these sleeves were magical, and relieved the pain, and the tender spots seemed to relax by the end of the day. Really. (These worked even better, than the taping my podiatrist did around my foot after my last visit.) So I recommend this product.

Wore the socks at night and morning foot pain was diminished greatly. Some of the stitching started coming look after a couple days (presumably from rubbing together at night) but the seller promptly offered to send a replacement. Overall good product and GREAT customer service!
