Q: Is the cast iron skillet 10 inches inside at the bottom? If not, what is the diameter of the bottom?

10 is at the top. the skillet measures 8.0 inche's at the bottom.

Q: What does re-season mean and do not use soap? it seems like taking care of these skillets is difficult. so i’ll pass.

the product is iron, so it requires some oil to avoid rusting. there are some cast irons on the market that com pre-seasoned and treated. I do wash the skillet in hot water with mild amount of soap and then a bit of olive rubbed on the inside for put away.

Q: What temperature can the silicone handles withstand?

I have only used the silicone handle for cooking on the stove---not in the oven. For stove top cooking it does well. However, you need to wait after shutting off the flame before using. i do not have a thermometer so I go by touching the handle.

Q: How safe are nonstick frying pans?

this is according you how to frying foods. mostly is nonstick.
