Pentel P207MBP3M Sharp Mechanical Drafting Pencil 0.7 mm Assorted Barrels 3/Pack

I have been using Pentel pencils since 1974. I was in school for data processing (now computer science) and a lot of the coding pads required a very sharp pencil to fill in the blocks for readability and due to the small size of the fields or blocks where the data had to be written. Keeping the pencil sharpened was a constant challenge. I received a Pentel .5mm automatic pencil as a Christmas present, and it worked great Several of my classmates went out and purchased Pentel pencils after they saw how well they worked, and the fact that you didn't have to sharpen them. I had a need for some .7mm pencils, so based on my past experience with Pentel I purchased these. Once again, they work great, just in a different thickness.

These are classic and feel great! The new colors are a welcome addition to the standard ol’ blue.

This is probably my fifth pack that I’ve ordered. I write to these bad boys fall apart and it takes a long time but I love these mechanical pencils when I say fifth pack probably my fifth pack in nine years.

These mechanical pencils are nice. The lead is soft enough and is very easy to write with. My only beef is the barrel itself looks chintzy. The pictures make it look like a metal barrel. I fell for the "metallic" wording and with the picture, I thought these would have a nicer weight to them. But, for the price, they are a good mechanical pencil.

Haven't used a mechanical pencil for years. Nice to always have a clean line, easy to refill, easy to grip, and attractive.

The Pentel 207 series pencils are the ultimate pencil. The 0.7 mm lead is the perfect size to keep writing clear and precise but also thick enough to not snap constantly while writing. The replacement leads and erasers are easy to install and even more importantly easy to get either through amazon or any local box stores.
