It is an excellent product that does what it is suppose to do, and is readily available through marketers on Amazon.Com at a very reasonable price.My wife and I learned of Po Sum On Medicated Oil through an acupuncturist we used in California a couple of years ago. She used it in preparation for a procedure called cupping that she performed on your back. The oil has a very pleasant and soothing aroma, and warms as it is rubbed into the skin.We had purchased a bottle of the oil from our acupuncturist to use on sore muscles and joints at home, but forgot we even had it after we moved to Idaho. My wife had been suffering with chronic pain in her low back, right hip, and right leg associated with sciatica for several months. We tried massage, and over the counter muscle ache remedies, which did nothing. One evening while looking through the medicine cabinet, I came across the bottle of Po Sum On Medicated Oil we still had. I put a few drops of the oil on the areas where my wife had the pain and rubbed it in with a deep massage for several minutes. The next morning she noticed much improvement. I've also used it to resolve pain issues in her neck and shoulder areas. Just put a few drops on the problem area in the evening just before bed and rub it in. The warming sensation combined with the relaxing aroma of the oil helps you to get a good night sleep, and I can pretty much guarantee the pain will be significantly reduced or gone the next morning when you wake up. I have been a fan of this product since the early nineties. It is still very effective and helps with minor pains or ailments.

PO Sum On is my favorite Chinese lineament. It is perfectly balanced between warming and cooling. It is invigorating and promotes blood circulation. I love the scent. It is the absolute favorite of clients in the acupuncture clinic where it can be used as an adjunct to therapeutic massage.

If you can handle the strong smell then you should try this oil. It warms the area and works on sore muscles. This is my second time ordering it because it works so well.

I was introduced to Po Sum On about 15 years ago by a massotherapist and have been using it ever since. I have given several bottles away to friends and their response is “that stuff is amazing.” It truly is a great topical for your aches and pains.

Really intense pepperminty liniment. Great for aches and pains and to clear sinuses. Lovely packaging - all the way from China.Can't beat these old Chinese medical treatments - have been in use for thousands of years. We have a lot to learn.

I ordered and paid for item on 09/11/2010, as of 10/13/2010 item has not been received. I guess since they want a review, I should have recieved it by now.

It's an oil, so it takes a little longer to work than Wood Lock Oil (Wong To Yick) or White Flower [it's thicker than Wood Lock or White Flower]. It also lasts a little longer at relieving pain than those two products. However, it does not soak into the skin anywhere near as fast. The smell is not too bad, slightly herby, but it also does not work as well as Wood Lock Oil or White Flower. It's not a bad product, but I won't be buying it again as there are better pain relief ointments on the market for the same cost or less. I'll be buying Wood Lock Oil (Wong To Yick) from now on.
