This thing works great. I have been using a rechargeable water flosser ...
I really don't understand the negative reviews on this product. After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try since it was inexpensive. This thing works great. I have been using a rechargeable water flosser for a few years (Philips Sonicare Air Floss). Yes, this is not as sophisticated as an electric one. It doesn't shoot the water out in a fanned out pattern like an electric one, but for what it is, it works like a charm. It has a powerful water jet that does shoot between your teeth very easily. Even with the electric one, I generally quickly run a piece of floss between my teeth after I use it because it doesn't completely get debris that's lodged between the teeth right at the chewing surface. So, even the electric models aren't perfect. I wanted this for my "prepper" supply - something I can use in the event of an extended power outage when the juice runs out of my electric one, which doesn't have usb charging capability. I was really impressed with this little thing, and it is exactly what I was looking for. I primed it once. It wasn't a pain to prime. You put some water in a bowl, remove the reservoir from the flosser, and insert the flosser into the water, press the pump in and out until it starts squirting under water, and its ready to go. I used it, then pumped the left over water out of it as per the instructions, then re-used again later without having to prime it again. I don't see why some reviewers find that the priming somehow doesn't work correctly or is some sort of chore. Having a water pik type of apparatus for dental care is a big plus. I've had better checkups and positive comments from my dental hygienist since I started using mine. This inexpensive little device is exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to get another one for my wife and store them with our other emergency supplies. If you are a prepper or just want a flosser like this to use when the power is going to be out for a while, I highly recommend getting one. Much better than I anticipated. It will also help you to conserve a lot on the amount of regular dental floss that you use, since you'll need to use less of it when you are using this.

Good product, small capacity
Purchased it for an upcoming trip, which has not arrived yet. However I used it a few times to see if it worked alright and yes, it does! However. It is limited when it comes to having enough water 'on board' since the reservoir is not as big as a 'stationary' water flosser. So during cleaning one has to refill the unit at least once. No big deal, because the more water it contains, the bigger the unit would be and at some point it would too big....

No power for you
I expected more power than this has and more if an irrigating stream. This stream did not dislodge anything from between my teeth, it was a waste of money for me. I could barely feel it on my gums. I prefer having to carry and plug in a regular powerful floss irrigating device. The convenience of having this would be great if it was efficient.

A dental hygienist recommended extra attention to one tooth with a water pik ...
A dental hygienist recommended extra attention to one tooth with a water pik - this product appears to be good foran isolated area. I don't think it would be an adequate tool for overall tooth care because the resevoir is smalland empties quickly; plus the stream of water is not very strong - The price was good and I decided to try it. It is easy to use.Only my next dental exam in 6 months will tell if I made a good decision to purchase and use it daily though.

Water Jet Floss
I bought this because my 13 year old grandson has been having trouble with his braces, and he saw this on tv and wanted to give it a try, he uses this with his mouthwash in the morning and at night, it seems to really be doing the job, I did not think it would work, but he says it makes taking care of the braces easier. I like the fact it does not plug in or uses batteries, he can use water or mouthwash, I will have to up date this once he goes to the dentist next month and see what they say. In my opinion this is really easy to use and it comes apart so you can clean it

waste of money
It sounds life a good idea, but it does not do anything. There is no power and you have to keep pumping the water, much more trouble than using an electric flosser. . It does no more than rinsing from a glass would do. Don't waste your money. Also, unless you initially submerge the unit part that has the pump and pump it under water, it will not work.
