Helpful information
This book was written on a level for anyone to comprehend. I read it almost cover to cover and refer to it frequently. I finally decided to read the final chapter of dealing with dementia in the final year. Tough to read but needed to be done. It’s helpful to know that this illness doesn’t have to be done alone. The author gives lots of suggestions for different situations because what works for one might not work for another.

Answered most of my questions about dementia.
My 96 year old mother was diagnosed with dementia and as it grows increasingly worse, I feel that I have a lot more information since reading this book. The information has given me so many insights into what she is feeling and how much her thinking has shifted - and none of it is her fault. I highly recommend this book to anyone starting down the road to dementia with a loved one or even yourself! A must read for caregivers, nurses and senior living facility staff.
