Q: How does this hang? Does it have space for a rod to go through or does it need clips that attach to the curtain and slice on the rod?

I used the doorway tapestry as a tapestry to hang on the wall at the head of a bed. I used a simple hanging rod with decorative ends. The brackets that came with the rod were used and allows the drape to hang freely on the wall. Mine was not the one pictured but were what I call egrets, vivid colors, and hangs beautifully. Enjoy, I have.

Q: Exactly what is the fabric of this noren?

It appears to be some type of thick, tightly woven upholstery material. The reverse side seems to be coated in a waterproof? finish.
