Q: What is the height and diameter of this stock pot?

6.75" tall without the lid, 9.5" with lid and 10" diameter.

Q: Will the bottom of the pan scratch the glass top stove?

No, it definitely will not. I have a glass stove top.

Q: Is this stockpot for induction?

Induction requires pans that are magnetic. Though I have not tried it, this pan is aluminum and might not work for induction cooking. Otherwise, it is a great pot!

Q: for 8qt stock pot, what is the diameter from handle to handle? what is the height without lid? gas stovetop safe?

End of handle to end of handle is 14 inches. Pot diameter is about 10 inches and height without lid is 7 inches. Use it on my gas stove; just follow directions and keep flame only under pot.
