No more logs of fur! (that look like other things…)
We took in a stray recently and the first thing we noticed was that he was vomiting you pretty frequently. First, it was these tiny little clear puddles but then came the logs. Since I have never owned a cat, I assumed the worst and since it looked like something out of his litter box.. I began to panic! Some research into it, I come to find hairballs aren’t spherical like they are portrayed on TV (lol) but rather these logs of hair. My poor baby was throwing one up every few days it seem I ended up doing even more research on what to do about it and these came up!These treats smell awful to me but to kitty, who is extremely food motivated and not picky at all, these are a delight! They are soft enough to crumble and if I forget to put them in his bowl as a side to wet food (he will eat the wet food and the save the treats at the end like a dessert) we will feed them to him when we come home as a treat. He knows where they are located and always follows me to the cabinet when I head in that direction, so you know he really loves these. Aside from that, they work as advertised! We started with 4 to eliminate the hairballs but since not seeing them, we started giving him 2 for maintenance. There was 2-3 nights we didn’t give him any to see the difference it made, and it was the only time we have witness him cough up a hairball since starting these. We love these and will be buying again! Nemo approved!

Bad batch, Cats usually like
Not sure if it is expired or just a bad batch, Cats usually love this, these they wouldn't touch. didn't open in time for return, as had others I used first. These didn't smell as much and were way harder than any other of the same product I got from other sources. can't find an expiration date but that I suspect is the problem. I may find another source, before I buy from this vendor again. both packages had the same lot number. I am very disappointed. I sent message to vendor but received no response.

YOUR CAT NEEDS THESE
I wish I had taken a “before” picture of my 15 year old man. I bought this to help with the amount of hair balls he was throwing up. I didn’t expect it to completely revive and bring my cat back to kitten days!!! After 2.5 weeks of eating 2 chews every day my cat came home (he’s indoor/outdoor) and I legitimately asked my husband if it looked like someone took him to be groomed. ALL of his mats came out and his fur is soft and fluffy again!!!! Hes even hanging out around us more and playing with toys which he hasn’t done in quite some time. He’s a new man and I can’t thank these treats enough. They are AMAZING! Oh and no hair balls since using them! Definitely beyond value for the money!!!

A little spendy, but worth it!
These are the only treats our cat will eat.Granted, he is a very picky cat. Before we knew he needed special Rx cat food (for crystals), finding a food he liked eating was almost impossible. Luckily, we found a brand of Rx food that he loves, but he had never liked any kind of treats or paste. When it came time to find a hairball treatment for him, our hopes were low.Once we found these on the 'Zon (where they were FRESH as opposed to the local store where they were stale), he absolutely LOVES them. He only gets them when he is having hairball issues, but he has been known to claw open the drawer where they are kept and drag them to our bed.Only star (-) is for cost/treat ratio. Since he needs 4/day when he is having hairballs and it takes at least a week of that to kick in, the pouches don't last long.

Thanks to our wonderful vet, we got her on a dry kibble ...
Our kitty who will be 17 in a couple weeks did not throw up hairballs, but developed kidney issues about 14 months ago. She is a short hair Siamese/Tonkinese mix. Thanks to our wonderful vet, we got her on a dry kibble kidney diet from Hill's Science and a wet food called HI TOR NEO DIET I found on Amazon after much research. I buy this from Amazon by the case (24 cans). This saved her life, and she has gained back the 3+ pounds she lost. In order to promote better stools, and keep things moving along, I've been giving her this VS Labs or Vermont Naturals Hairballs (these companies are connected and based in Vermont) in her wet food, rather than use the 'stuff you smear on the paw'. Her fur is just beautiful and she is a very happy kitty. When I first gave her a couple little fish-shaped chewy per the directions, she munched them right down. The next time she just turned up her nose and walked away, so now I cut up two every morning with a sharp paring knife and mix into her 1/4 can of wet food. The people in customer service at Vermont Naturals are super nice and helpful and sent me 3 packs of VN by UPS totally free. I learned that VN has just a tiny bit more moisture than VS Labs. Sorry this review is about several items....

My cat likes them
And he's Mr. Picky Pants when it comes to treats most days. He thinks these little things are the bomb & will eat them down with gusto! Since he's a long-haired cat, I wanted to find something that could assist with the hairball issue that he has. And so far, this has seemed to do the job. There have been far fewer instances of my cat vomiting up hairballs and I for one, am grateful. I'll keep buying this, for as long as he likes it & it works. Good job

Inedible, even for a dog
Really was hoping these would work but neither of my cats would eat them. My one who I got them for is semi picky but even my garbage disposal cat who will eat anything wasn’t interested.I figured I’ll just give them to my dogs who will eat any and everything and…..not these. I’m genuinely shocked.
