The grill comes with cooking grid and charcoal plate. We also have pizza stone, heat deflector, grill cover available for purchase and many other accessories to come!

Q: How is the grill protected inside the package? Is it enclosed in styrofoam shell or just reinforced with other material?

Please view the attached pictures for packaging. The fire box is enclosed in foam shells.

Q: What is the diameter of the cooking surface?

For the 13 inch grill the cooking surface is 9.8''; for the 15 inch grill the cooking surface is 12.6''.

Q: Has anyone found a cast iron cooking grate for the 13inch Handle?

I actually use a cast iron grate that is a charcoal grate for a larger grill. It does have holes in it but does a wonderful job for many types of food and the fit is perfect. I of course season it with oil just like I would season a cast iron skillet. I bought it on Amazon.
