I used this to make a small, fold-down table/shelf on a wall. In summer, that area is used for a portable air conditioner. The shelf folds flat against the wall, and we roll the air conditioner into place. Super easy. After the air conditioner is put away in fall, The shelf snaps up, giving me space to fold laundry, to work on projects, to charge devices or whatever else you might need counter space for. I was able to choose the shelf material based on intended use, and budget. I chose something unfinished, and painted it to coordinate with the wall. Initially, I wanted the shelf to blend in when folded down, but I’m now repainting it to look like wall art. The brackets function smoothly, and it wasn’t hard to get them installed level and get the shelf finished. It is sturdy, and won’t fold down against the wall until I push the release mechanisms on both brackets. I wish I’d known about these years ago.

These brackets are great. I originally ordered the wrong size for my project, however, today I received the correct ones, and they work great! Sturdy construction. They do not feel cheap at all. Will use this brand again!

Easy to install, and use. My son built a shelf top for these, a great product in a smaller laundry room. Gives you the flexibility to have a table to fold clothes, but the space when you don't need the table to be able to put it down and still look nice

Sturdy, Durable, Look great, Functional. These brackets were perfect for what we needed them for.I bought these because my wife wanted an "outdoor desk/table" on our front porch.She uses it when she's working from home and it's nice out, and it that doubles as a Happy Hour table.I used all 4 of them, so that I could use a thinner board to tuck out of the way, but they're strong, and could support much more weight, or a thicker board.I will likely buy more of these for new applications in the future!

I used these brackets and an old lap table that I've had for ages to make my son a little school desk that can fold away when not in use. He loves it and so do we. The brackets are surprisingly very strong and easy to assemble. You can't even see the brackets because they're hidden under the table so it looks very nice. If you plan on using it for heavy items from time to time like I do, definitely make sure you mount it securely into a stud. I see a lot of people upset that it ripped out of their drywall when they put 60lbs of tools, food, decor, whatever on it. These brackets have endless possibilities and can hold a lot of weight, as long as you secure it properly!

Collapsible brackets, what a great idea! What a space saver. Very easy to install, easy to collapse down and they hold a lot of weight. Love that they come in different colors.
