Q: Is the head plastic or brass? Descriptions tell both.

Not once does it say it's made of plastic. It's brass with nickel plating (what gives it the silver color, otherwise it would be a gold-ish color).

Q: Does it have a real nice inside

There is nothing inside nice or otherwise. The cane itself feels very flimsy it comes in several sections that you screw together. It looks nice enough but I suspect that it won’t wear well.

Q: does the top of the cane come off? if i wanted to take it off and replace it

It does come off. However the top of this cane is the best part about it. The shaft leaves something to be desired.

Q: Instead of the small tapered rubber tip with the brass band that is shown, mine came with a big ugly rubber cap????

My AnNafi cane came with the advertised rubber tip. I am still missing the brouche.
