The Neverending Story Book Auryn Bastian Atreyu Replica Novel Brown

The metal AURYN on the front is very shiny. This whole book is gorgeous. I love it! Feels magical. There are some things that could be improved. Bastian is frequently misspelled in the text. It will say “Bastion” and then in the next paragraph it will be spelt “Bastian”. The text is also printed wonky on each page. But this is subtle and does not impact you reading it. Someone else said the text is fuzzy and I do not find this to be the case. I wish the decorative letters for the start of each chapter were bigger and printed in a higher quality. Finally, something you should know is that there is no red and green text, and nor is Bastian’s side of the story in italics like it is in other editions. There is no visual differentiation in the text. But you will work out quickly which world the writer is going back to. I wish Bastian’s part was in italics. But it’s fine. Please, if you like The Neverending Story, do not let these things put you off it! It is still super worth it, very worth the money. I loved unwrapping it and I love reading it and just looking at the cover. Be careful to never get it wet with water because it will probably leave marks on the cover. Do enjoy this wonderful replica :)

This lovely replica of the book from the movie, is smaller than the original that Bastian read. But it is made with such quality and care, and its smaller size makes for a more comfortable read. Each chapter of the Fantastica sections include the beautiful decorative first letter of the chapter, and a nicely sized font for easy reading. It also includes a bookmark ribbon inside to hold your place. The outer cover is a sturdy hardback, and the decorative metal pieces on the front are very well made, and firmly attached to its cover. I truly felt that same wonder and excitement that Bastian felt as he turned the first pages of the story. Highly recommend this for fans of the book, and to those who watched the movie as a child that wish to know the original story which inspired it.

Really lovely. I haven't had time to inspect the story but the outside is gorgeous. Sits with my labyrinth book.Love it.It is very very pricey. I received vouchers from my bil as a birthday gift so I used them for it. Otherwise I would probably of waited to get it. It is alot of money.

Quality of this book is great, the silver work snakes on front are real metal work, and the sides also. The book is normal book size is my only thing I’d like to change as should be a big book. But it’s beautiful.

Having read the Neverending story, paperback edition several times now. It is wonderful to have hardcover edition, with Auryn, on the front. Look forward to reading the hardcover edition. This for any fan of the book, and would make a great present for young readers.

Great quality cover and decent size.

Beautiful book, but let down by poor quality control and packaging. I had to order several of these to get at least one that wasn't damaged by marks, dents, or indentations on the cover. They are very visible. The cover just marks so easily. Some damage is clearly from production. Never got one perfect copy, had to compromise in the end and choose the one with least damage.
