Rugged construction
Very rugged easy to install. Just remember you cannot have the same code number twice.

You can't put it back in the slot without re-pressing the combination buttons.
The product is very sturdy and therefore safe for the keys but having to re enter the combination to put the main box back in the slot is clunky and awkward. It will also only allow you to use each number once so combination choices are limited. There is a hook included on the back of the centre section to attach the key but it is almost impossible to open a door with the heavy centre attached so we put the keys inside the gap separately and removed that hook. An odd design in my book but we kept it for the solidity and additional security we felt that provided.

Very compact, inconspicuous, not high security
The included instructions are clear and easy to follow. I was surprised at how easy to use and effective the included thunderscrews are. Just do as the nice people say - make sure the drill holes are deep enough.Setting the code is also very straightforward, a small screwdriver is way less fiddly than the small key thing supplied. Checking the latch operation before fitting the door to the lock is an obvious step. This is a very compact and unobtrusive device. The rubber cover makes it look more like an electrical cover than a key safe. My 70mm long door key is a very tight fit. I don't think it would take anything larger.I have always just hidden a key outside and saw this as a mild security improvement as it is also well hidden. It is not claimed to be high security and it certainly isn't. I doubt it woud survive a determined attack for long. The body appears to be made of the same metal as an old Dinky toy. If you want somewhere handy to hide a key without being obvious this is perfect, but if you want proper security blow some more dosh on a properly rated key safe. Beware though, I did spot a couple of key safes on Amazon which claim to be 'Police approved' but with no certified rating. I can only think that their local Community Support Officer looked at them and said 'They're nice'.

ok key safe but very fiddly
Fiddly to set up and getting the door back on again, you have to set the code again ( i think ) as I haven't fixed it to the wall yet, maybe its easier once secured to the wall, why not put a hinge on it as its very fiddly to close it after use, good solid product though

Keylock safe needed for incoming care assistants
I did look and the ones with scrolling locks. But I was dubious in case someone may have forgot to clear and move buttons to hide code as the place it is fitted is near front door on busy road. Didn’t want to feel vulnerable. This one fitted where needed and I feel safe. The only thing I do not like is the whole press button part comes out to remove key. ( The other type once wheels moved to code drops down) because of it coming out completely key has been dropped a couple of times on the floor by carers. Easy to put back enter code and hold button down to replace. Also rain cover. Not been able to look but it seems the rain cover is not fixed to the wall but slots on. Not ideal. Good when on hides the full keysafe. All carers manage with it fine and has been useful. Plus no worry about any showing PIN code being left on device

Unsuitable keysafe
Thought this product was a good idea.Comes complete, you need to open and separate before fixing on a wall. The keypad itself is quite heavy. When attached to the backplate all well and good. However on opening using chosen code there isn't anything to support the keypad, consequently it fell out.Unfortunately I consider this not fit for purpose.I would like to return this.Thank you for taking the time to read this
